When a patient arrives at Duke and qualifies for the study, they will be placed into one of three treatment groups. Some will get only levetiracetam, while others will get levetiracetam with either a low or high dose of ketamine. The medical team will watch the patient closely and check how they are doing at 15 minutes and 1 hour after the study medicine is given. An monitoring headband device will also be placed on the patient's head to measure brain activity and watch for seizures. The study team will continue to check on the patient for up to 24 hours, or until the patient leaves the hospital-whichever happens first. Once the patient goes home, their part in the study will be finished.

We are doing this study to compare a ketogenic diet (a diet with high fat, moderate protein, very low carbohydrate) versus a normal diet. We want to find out if it has any effect on survival time for people with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). We also want to know how biomarkers change when people follow a ketogenic diet. A biomarker is a biological molecule found in blood, other body fluids, or tissues. Biomarkers may be a sign of a condition or disease and can be used to predict someone's response to a specific treatment.

We are doing this study to learn more about what causes glioblastoma (GBM), a type of brain cancer, and the factors that affect GBM patients' quality of life. This research will help us to understand why some people get GBM, including how their genes and health history may contribute to tumor development and progression.

People in this study will be placed into one of two groups by chance. One group will receive preventive antiviral medicine after their kidney transplant. The other group will receive regular blood testing and treatment only if signs of CMV infection appear. Both approaches are currently recommended for preventing CMV infection after kidney transplant. Participants will have blood tests every three months during the first year and then once a year after that. These tests will check kidney function, blood cell counts, and the body's ability to fight CMV. Researchers want to learn which prevention strategy works best and is safest for kidney transplant recipients.

This study has two parts. The first part includes about eighty people, and the second part includes about two hundred fifty people. Each part of the study lasts about thirty six weeks. The study begins with screening to see if someone can join. After that, people are placed by chance into groups to take either the study medicine or a placebo for about twenty-eight weeks. At the end, there is a follow up period where doctors check safety. Each person will join only one part of the study.

Some kids need a special tube called a central line to get medicine and food. But when the tube isn’t being used, it can get blocked or infected. To help stop this, doctors use a liquid called a locking solution. In this study, kids will be randomly placed into one of two groups: - Group 1 will use the regular locking liquid called heparin. - Group 2 will use a new liquid called Kitelock. Both groups will use their locking liquid every day. They’ll also have check-ups, blood tests, and keep a daily diary. The study will last about 1 year and include 6 in-person visits and 10 phone or video visits.

Participants will be placed into one of two groups by chance. One group will receive a new medicine called pasritamig together with a cancer medicine called docetaxel. The other group will receive docetaxel alone. Everyone will continue their usual hormone treatment unless both testicles have been surgically removed. People who receive docetaxel alone will also take a steroid medicine called prednisone. People who receive pasritamig will not take prednisone because it may affect how the study medicine works. Both groups will receive medicines before treatment to help reduce side effects. Researchers will compare the two treatment groups to learn if adding pasritamig can help treat prostate cancer better than standard treatment alone.

We are doing this study to find the most effective, safe dose of an experimental drug called ziftomenib (the study drug). We want to know how well this study drug works in people with AML that have certain mutations in the NPM1 gene and rearrangements involving the KMT2A gene when it is given alone or in combination with other cancer drugs.
