No Treatment. Patients who agree to participate in this study will be enrolled in the TxAccess software platform Participants will fill out questionnaires and have additional blood tests.

We are doing this study to learn more about variants in people's genes that cause cells in the back of the eye to function incorrectly and lead to a process called "retinal degeneration."

In this study, people will be placed into one of two groups by chance, like flipping a coin. One group will have a device called ECLIPSIUM used to hold a mesh in place during hernia surgery. The other group will have the mesh held in place with tacks. About half of the people will be in each group. Taking part in this study lasts about thirteen months. People will have seven planned study visits. These include a screening visit before surgery, the hernia repair surgery itself, a phone call or visit the day after surgery to ask about pain, and four in person visits at one month, three months, six months, and twelve months after surgery. At these visits, people will answer questions about their recovery and fill out questionnaires.

The goal of this study is to learn more about how certain hormones and cells in the pancreas help keep blood sugar at a healthy level. This is very important when the body does not respond well to insulin, which can happen with obesity and diabetes. By doing this study, researchers hope to find better ways to care for and treat diabetes.

We are doing this study to collect information about our state-of-the-art methods to care for the bladder and kidneys of babies born with spina bifida. We want to compare the results of these methods with other hospitals around the country that are following the same guidelines to protect the bladder and kidney health of infants with spina bifida. We and the other centers following these guidelines will regularly evaluate the outcomes of this care and modify the methods accordingly.

We are doing this study to get more information about an experimental test that is being developed to find biomarkers (substances or characteristics in the body) that might help detect cancer. The study test being investigated is a blood test, and we want to get blood samples to run these tests from women who have surgery to remove an ovarian or pelvic mass.
