Purpose of this Study
We are doing this study to test an experimental simulation of "extravehicular activities" (EVAs), which are more commonly known as spacewalks. We want to know if this simulation will provide good training for astronauts who will have to perform EVAs during their space missions.
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
Adults ages 18-50 who:
- Are in good general health
- Do not smoke or vape
- Do not have any of the following diagnoses: lung disease, cardiovascular disease (includes hypertension), diabetes, or any condition that requires the routine use of pain killing medications

What is Involved?
Description
If you choose to join this study, you will come in for a screening visit to find out if you're eligible to take part in the training simulation. During the screening visit, you will:
- Have a physical exam
- Have a blood draw
- Undergo a rigorous exercise test to measure your fitness level (VO2 max test)
