Neurocognitive Symptoms in Hyperparathyroidism

Neurocognitive Symptoms in Hyperparathyroidism

Purpose of this Study

We are doing this study to learn more about the following symptoms that can be related to primary hyperparathyroidism: confusion, difficulty remembering and focusing, memory fog, changes in a person's normal behavior, feeling "blue", increased anxiety, increased agitation, and trouble performing daily activities, like driving and remembering appointments. We want to know how much these symptoms change in older adults after they have endocrine surgery.
