Purpose of this Study
If people join this study, they will answer questions before surgery about their feelings and expectations for pain after surgery. They will receive a study medicine called suzetrigine before surgery and continue taking it after surgery along with common pain medicines such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen. If needed, they can also take an opioid pain medicine for extra pain relief.
After surgery, researchers will contact participants every day to ask about their pain levels, pain medicine use, and any side effects. About one week after surgery, participants will also be asked how well they think their pain was controlled. The goal is to learn how well suzetrigine helps manage pain after surgery and whether it can reduce the need for opioid medicines.
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
People can join this study if they are 18 years old or older and are having a laparoscopic or robotic hysterectomy, which is surgery to remove the uterus using small incisions. They must be healthy enough for surgery or have only mild to moderate medical problems. Researchers are studying whether a medicine called suzetrigine can help improve pain control after surgery.

What is Involved?
Description
This study is testing a medicine called suzetrigine to see if it helps control pain after laparoscopic or robotic hysterectomy surgery. Researchers want to learn if adding suzetrigine to standard pain medicines can improve pain relief and reduce the need for opioid pain medicines. The study will also look at how safe the treatment is and how satisfied patients are with their pain control after surgery.
