We are doing this study to find out if giving a drug called Exparel (the study drug) as a spinal injection is a safe and effective option for pain management. The study drug is approved to treat pain after surgery and is injected into the surrounding area where the surgery was done. We want to know if the study drug can also be given as an intrathecal (into the space surrounding the spine) injection to help control pain.

We are doing this study to learn more about Alzheimer's disease and other illnesses of aging (e.g., dementia, mild cognitive impairment [MCI], or other cognition disorders).

We are doing this study to find out if L-citrulline (the study drug) will help improve asthma symptoms when taken daily. This study is important because managing symptoms of asthma can improve quality of life and long-term health.

We created this healthy volunteer registry for people who would like to participate in brain imaging research studies. These studies use structural and functional MRI data to study areas of the brain associated with movement, memory, attention, and perception.

We created this registry to have database of people who are interested in participating in research about chronic pain.

We are doing this study to learn more about how right hemisphere brain damage (RHD) from a stroke can affect people's ability to communicate. We want to improve treatments to help stroke survivors regain their ability to communicate.

We are doing this study to find out if a new method to train the breathing muscles is effective. We want to know if this training can improve how well people can move and exercise underwater while connected to oxygen (i.e., while diving).

Specifically, we want to test whether or not these methods can increase personal endurance and reduce excessive rise in blood carbon dioxide during underwater exercise in divers. We will also look at how oxygen and carbon dioxide enters and leaves blood cells and how it affects exercise capacity.
