Stago sthemO: Sub-group A

Purpose of this Study

If you participate, you will be asked to provide a blood draw of about 5.4 mL, or 1/3 tablespoon, of blood. If you are one of the first 20 subjects, you may have the chance to participate in one additional blood draw.

Who Can Participate?

Eligibility

To join this study, you must be a healthy volunteer between 22 and 65 years old. You cannot be pregnant or have had a baby in the last 3 months. You also cannot have any blood clotting problems or be taking medicines that prevent blood clots.

What is Involved?

Description

The company that is running this study, Diagnostica Stago, has made a new machine called sthemO 301 and special solutions to test how blood clots. The study is being done to find out what normal blood clotting looks like. This means they want to create a range of values that show what is normal for these tests.
