Purpose of this Study
We are doing this study to learn more about how genetics influence vulnerability and resistance to different types of infections.

Adults ages 18+ who:
- Are participants in the OneDukeGen study
- Are planning to have a surveillance colonoscopy done
- Do not have a bleeding disorder

What is Involved?
Description
If you choose to join the study, you will have a one-time research biopsy and a nasal swab at the time of your standard of care colonoscopy procedure.
- Biopsies: we will collect up to 12 samples from your colonoscopy to use for research purposes. We may collect an additional 4 samples from any identified polyps or cancers that might be identified during the procedure. Each biopsy sample will be roughly 4-9 mm in size (smaller than a pea).
- Nasal swab: we will administer a nasal swab before your colonoscopy.
