What is Involved?

If you choose for your child to join the study, your child will:
- Be randomly assigned (by chance, like the flip of coin) to wear, or not wear, an eye patch over one eye during all waking hours for 3 months
- Visit our clinic at the Duke Eye Center 2 times

At these visits, you and your child will answer some questionnaires, and your child will have eye exams and vision tests.
