Purpose of this Study
We are doing this study to learn more about the differences in the muscle and blood of people that have Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
Adults ages 18+ with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) who are:<ul>
<li>Scheduled to have open vascular reconstruction, OR</li>
<li>Scheduled to undergo limb amputation due to PAD, OR</li>
<li>Scheduled to undergo orthopedic surgery without a diagnosis of PAD</li></ul>
<li>Scheduled to have open vascular reconstruction, OR</li>
<li>Scheduled to undergo limb amputation due to PAD, OR</li>
<li>Scheduled to undergo orthopedic surgery without a diagnosis of PAD</li></ul>
What is Involved?
If you choose to join this study you will:<ul>
<li>Have muscle and tissue collected at the time of surgery</li>
<li>Give a blood sample at the time of surgery</li></ul>
