Purpose of this Study
We are doing this study to learn more about Alzheimer's disease and other illnesses of aging (e.g., dementia, mild cognitive impairment [MCI], or other cognition disorders).
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
Adults ages 45-80 who:
- Are be able to read at a 6th grade level
- Are willing to have an MRI scan and a lumbar puncture or PET scan
- Have a study partner

What is Involved?
Description
This study will ask that you have a study partner. This is usually a family member that can answer questions about your day-to-day activities.
If you choose to join this study, you will:
- Complete 3 study visits in 60 days and then yearly visits after that
- Do brain and thinking tests
- Have physical exams
- Do memory tests
- Complete medical and family history surveys
- Get a brain MRI (image)
- Have a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) or PET Scan
- Do memory testing
- Have a blood test
