Purpose of this Study
People in this study will still get their regular medical care. The study is only about trying a special kind of liver transplant using a machine called Liver Assist to help keep the liver healthy. The liver must come from a donor and meet certain rules. People can still wait for a regular liver transplant outside the study. Doctors will collect information from their medical records to learn how they’re doing and how the surgery goes.
