Purpose of this Study
Participants will attend 1 or 2 study visits that last up to 4.5 hours. During the visits, they will have MRI scans, play thinking and memory games, complete sensory tests, and provide blood samples. Researchers will use this information to learn more about brain and body function.

Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
Participants may be able to join if they are women age 18 or older with medically documented widespread chronic pain. They may be currently using opioids or not using opioids. Researchers will compare their brain activity with that of healthy women who do not have chronic pain.

What is Involved?
Description
This study is comparing brain activity in adult women with chronic pain or who use opioids to brain activity in healthy women without pain. Researchers hope this information will help create better treatments for chronic pain and provide alternatives to opioid medicines.
