Eligibility

People can join this study if they are 18 years or older and identify as non Hispanic Black or African American. They must be able to read and speak English. They must be receiving maternity care from a Duke Health provider or have recently had a baby at Duke Health.

What is Involved?

Description

This study is being done to improve trust and communication between Black pregnant women and their healthcare providers. We want to see if a short storytelling video for providers can help them better understand women's experiences and increase empathy. Our goal is to improve how women feel about their care during pregnancy and childbirth.
