Purpose of this Study
We are doing this study to see if people have the L1 gene called apolipoprotein (APOL1) and to learn how this may affect them.
Who Can Participate?
Eligibility
Adults who are:<ul>
<li>African American</li>
<li>Afro-Caribbean</li>
<li>Hispanic black or African who have have had a kidney transplant from an African American, Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic black, or African donor</li></ul>

<li>Hispanic black or African who have have had a kidney transplant from an African American, Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic black, or African donor</li></ul>
What is Involved?
If you choose to be in this study, we will ask you to provide a urine sample.
