Adaptive PET II for Reproductive and Digestive Cancer

Purpose of this Study

We are doing this study to understand the benefit of using PET scan in addition to the standard of care CT scan to plan for radiation therapy. The PET-CT scan may allow your radiation doctor to fine tune the radiation plan or the delivery of radiation to your cancer.

Who Can Participate?

Eligibility

Adults who:<ul>
<li>Are diagnosed with cervical or vulvar (female reproductive tract), esophageal or anal canal (digestive tract) cancer</li>
<li>Have a negative pregnancy test</li></ul>

What is Involved?

If you choose to join this study, you will:
<li>Have 2 PET scans in addition to computed tomography (CT) scans</li>
<li>Have the first PET-CT scan before the start of radiation therapy</li>
<li>Have the second PET-CT scan during radiation therapy</li>
<li>Be involved in the study for about 6-8 weeks</li></ul>
